Ruth is an accomplished harpist with a wealth of experience. From 4 years old she knew she wanted to play a "golden harp" one day. And then it happened...
Since leaving The Guildhall School of Music and Drama, her work has comprised of thousands of engagements spanning a huge variety of genres in music, tv, radio, theatre and concert halls throughout the UK and worldwide. Until March 2020 when Covid hit the world, Ruth was the harpist in the Original producton of "Phantom of the Opera"
With all this skill, experience and passion, Ruth will make the perfect musician and harpist for your wedding day or event.
Ruth has a vast repertoire containing hundreds of classical, modern and pop songs, which she uses to create an atmosphere that compliments any event. She collaborates with clients to ensure that each set list is individual and tailored. Ruth can transform many songs with her melodic and relaxed manner to add sophistication and style.

Ruth has a sophisticated sound system fitted to the harp which can either be plugged into a venue system or she can bring a small amplifier on request for an additional fee of £50.
We just wanted to say a massive thank you for playing at our wedding in October, you were a big hit and everyone said how it made the day extra special.

Ruth performs on an exquisitely beautiful gold harp made by The Wurlitzer Company dating back to the mid 1920’s made in Chicago. It is rumoured to have been previously owned by the most famous harpist of all, Harpo Marx. It may well have appeared in any of the Marx Brother films!!
